Feiyue Shoes
Here’s a trend that I can guarantee is just about to pop off in a major way. Feiyue shoes were first designed for martial arts in the 1930s, but became popular in China in the 1970’s. The first time I ever saw a pair was on my friend’s little brother, who was wearing them to Kung Fu class. Now, they’re starting to show up on the internet, and it’s just a matter of time before they appear in Urban Outfitters and everyone is wearing them.
However, there are two different brands of these shoes. The original from China, and the American licensed brand, called Warrior, which is the english translation of Feiyue. The difference is, you can get the original on Amazon for $15. The American licensed brand (pictured above) go for either $50 or $60, but there are more styles to choose from.
Go buy a pair for yourself, and you’ll be able to say that you knew about them before anyone else did.

Personal Effects

I think I’ve finally gotten to a place where I feel like I’ve got a well rounded set of personal effects. Jake Davis and H(y)R Collective have featured sets of personal effects and I thought that I’d post up a picture of the stuff I carry around with me every day. A few of my favorite items are:
Those things (and the iPhone I took the picture with) will always be classic favorites to me. Just a few simple items no man should be without. If you’ve got a photo of your swagger, comment with a link or something. I love seeing these kinds of photos.

Today Was A Good Day
Today, Nike released a video to celebrate the release of Paul Rodriguez’s third signature sneaker. Cool video, and Rodriguez always has the dopest kicks.
